Immerse yourself in the exotic scene of Thac Ba lake in the sunset
Departure from Hanoi, you are picked up to Yen Bai province by a private bus. It is known as the land of many minorities, Yen Bai is the place that you can meet H’mong, Tay, Nung, White and Red Dzao. Each of them owns an original traditional costume and culture.
After arriving at the homestay in Thac Ba region, we start an easy trekking around to catch the reflecting sun into the lake, enjoy some fresh air, and feel the primary scenes.
Go back to local house for the dinner that is the time for relaxing and communicating to the hosts. You can join in doing the meal and learn more about the culture of minority here. Overnight at the homestay in area of Thac Ba.

Thac Bà - Muong Lo - Nghia Lo

After breakfast, we take a boat trip on Thac Ba Lake, which is located in a 23.400 ha area including more than 1000 islands and lots of mysterious karst caves. Thac Ba is not the largest artificial lake in Vietnam, but also mesmeric with a diversified eco-system. Blow your mind to the beautiful nature of the lake and mountain in this area.
Next, we go to Muong Lo valley that owns the most spectacular rice-terraces only after Mu Cang Chai. Especially, Muong Lo is well-known as the motherland of Thai people with traditional houses on stilts and cultivating working. Stop in Muong Lo 2 hours for a sauntering into the Thai's village. This is the chance to explore how Thai ethnology lives, do their daily activities, and keeps the culture. Overnight at a guest house in Muong Lo.
