Welcome to Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam (second name is Saigon). Far East Tour’s team meet you at Tan Son Nhat Airport then transfer to hotel for check in. In the afternoon start a half day city tour in Ho Chi Minh with the most famous: Dong Khoi street , the Opera House, Town Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, central Post Office and Independent Palace
At night, a great diner is waiting for you at cruise restaurant that cruising on Saigon river.

Day 2

Have breakfast at Hotel then get pick up from your Hotel in sai Gon for transfer to Cai Be (130km – 2,5 hours for transferring).
The program will start with the visit of Cai Be floating market.  Then, we’ll come to Tân Phong island for a biking or walking on village paths will be so amazing to see the local farms, houses, real life and have an opportunity to see farmers picking up their fruits on the ancestral ways in Mekong Delta..  where we can also see how they make rice-net for spring-rolls,  sew coconut-leaves for cottage roof and specially see how they wave the dried water-hyacynth to make many products: baskets, bags, hats, wallets, shoes...
The rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful time. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood or palm leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an opportunity to make contacts with them and see how they catch fish or pick up fruits by ancestral ways in Mekong Delta…
Lunch can be served at local home. After lunch, we can walk around the fruitful orchard and then we will enjoy a cup of tea when listening to the traditional music
Next, an optional stop can be made at local workshops where you can see how to make rice paper, coconut candy and pop-rice, pop-corn... The cruise will end at Vinh Long city. Dinner at Homestay.

Day 3
Vinh Long – Sa Dec – Can Tho

Breakfast at the homestay. 
Get pick up for the transfer to Sa Dec and have an interesting trip in this city. 
Sa Dec is a small "Venice" with many narrow canals and famous for the love story between Marguerite Duras and Huynh Thuy Le. Walk to visit the local market of Sa Dec and along small streets whith the old French houses and Chinese temples dating from the last century. Visit the old house which was built is 1890, the home of Huynh Thuy Le, the lover of the French writer Marguerite Duras. (Watch the movie "The Lover" transformed since the novel "The Lover" by Marguerite Duras).
You can also visit the pagoda and the An Phu Dong flower village, ... 
Go ahead to Can Tho ( 70km – 1,5 hours for transferring). Arrival Can tho, visit the Khmer Pagoda, a small but very interesting place, where you can interract with the venerable of this pagoda and learn more about Buddhism then visit the Binh Thuy temple.

Day 4
Can Tho – Cai Rang – Sai Gon – Flight to Hue

Morning will start early with visiting Cai rang floating market, the largest wholesale floating market in the Mekong Delta. While floating down the river, you will glimpse life along its shores. You’ll pass vibrantly painted boats anchored along the shore, merchant vessels carrying loads down the river and houses built on stilts over the water. Embark the harbor, our Guide will lead you visit some fruit garden here, it’s a chance for you to admire and enjoy the abundant fruit garden of the Mekong Delta region. 
Then return to Ho Chi Minh airport for Flight to Hue
Upon arrive, meet our driver for the transfer to your Hotel in Hue. Check in Hotel and relax.

Day 5

After breakfast, you start Hue City Tour from Toa Kham port where the dragon boats anchor. Embarking into a local boat, you stream along Perfume River, which is famous with the dreamlike looking, and located in the heart of Hue. People say that had not seen Perfume River and Ngu Mountain, not known Hue yet.
Firstly, we stop at Thien Mu Pagoda – the most characteristic pagoda for the majestic period of Buddha in central Vietnam. 
Going along the river to Thuy Bieu village that is famous by the Thanh Tra pomelo and the 100 years old “Nhà rường” (the traditional houses of Hue). After sauntering around Thuy Bieu by cycle, you return to the Citadel. 
Stop to visit Ho Quyen Area and Minh Mang Tomb en-route.

Day 6
Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An city half day

Breakfast at your hotel – Go ahead to Hoi An through Da Nang. 
On the way stop at Lang Co beach to enjoy one of the most amazing attractions in Vietnam center.  Experience fabulous Hai Van Pass that you can admire both of emerald sea and spectacular mountain with the impressing curved lines. 
Then visiting the Cham museum where reserves the ancient sculpture objects of Cham people. It is said that Cham museum is the most interesting cultural place in lively Danang which owns the worthiest sculptural objects of Cham civilization in Vietnam. Visiting the museum, you can look many classical imagines of Champa sculpture as Apsara dance woman, Vishnu statues, Linga-Yoni altar, Siva statue, My Son altar.
Subsequently, we go ahead to Hoian – the romantic commercial port, which has been preserved from the 16th century. Let check-in the hotel in the center of Hoian, then making the most of leisure time.

Day 7

08:00 Depart from your hotel. Spend a leisurely day cycling through the scenic and peaceful countryside of Vietnam, far away from the noise of the city.  After passing through the town, you will cycle amongst villages of rice fields on quiet roads, ending up in Van Lang fisherman village and Bay Mau water coconut forest - 7 hectares of mangrove forest, canals, and houses covered in water coconut leaf. This place played refuge to people and local soldiers during the Vietnam War, but nowadays it is famous for its abundance of seafood.
9:30 On our journey to the village we will stop at Ba Le market, rice fields, cemeteries and schools...
10:00 In the village you will be warmly welcomed with a green tea by Mr.Han and his family, the third generation of his family to live there. There you will have free time to stroll through the village, before rowing a basket boat with the locals, learning their traditional fishing techniques in the water coconut forest.
11:00 After returning to Mr.Han and his family, you will enjoy a traditional therapeutic foot bath with medicinal herbs, before preparing lunch with a local family. Lunch will feature many local dishes, such as Tam Huu spring rolls, Banh Xeo local pancakes, grilled fish in banana leaf, among many other Vietnamese delicacies.
13:30 After lunch you will have free time to take a short rest and enjoy the calm of this relaxing region. Then we return to your hotel at 14h00. Back to your Hotel then have free time at Hoi an old town.

Day 8
Hoi An – Da Nang – Flight to Hanoi

Have free time until get pick up for transfer to Da Nang airport for Flight to Hanoi. 
Upon arrive, meet our Guide and driver then you will go straight to the hotel in the center (45 minutes – 30km). Check in Hotel if the room is available then in the afternoon have a half day city tour in Hanoi old quarter.
Different from Sai Gon or Hoi An, Hanoi is charming by its blending life-style, ancient French colonial houses, and complicated traffic system. 
Experience the remarkable Hoan Kiem Lake and The Old Quarter by cyclo. Enjoy one of the most impressing Vietnam cultural highlights which is called Water Puppet at Theatre. 
Join in greeting dinner at a local restaurant.

Tour guide will take you to visit Hanoi’s highlights as Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, The Temple of Literature, and Hoa Lo Prison. You will spend all day to explore the old-age culture and history of Vietnam. 
Finish the trip, back to your Hotel until get pick up to Hanoi train station for the night train to Lao Cai/Sapa which depart at 9/10pm). 
Overnight on soft-sleeper night train (sharing cabin with 4 beds). 
Highly recommend depart from Hanoi on Saturday’s night. Because Bac Ha market only open on Sunday’s morning. 

Day 10
Lao Cai – Bac Ha Market - Sapa Town – Thac Bac Water fall – Tram Ton Pass

Bac Ha market is well-known as one of the most colorful markets of the hill tribes in Northern Vietnam. This market is usually open every Sunday from 09.00am until 2.00pm, and is a common meeting place for both trade and reunions, of at least 8 ethnic groups. This tour offers the visitors a great opportunity to witness a diverse range of lifestyles, dress, life attitudes and living conditions as you move among the hill-tribes people as they go about their market life, and enjoy the scenery and backdrop of this spectacular mountainous region. Take the opportunity to get up close and personal with the children, families and witness their cultural interaction
Have lunch by yourself before taking transfer to Sapa Town

Thac Bac Waterfall is 13kms from Sapa which is a breathtaking scenery with white water cascading down from the top. From the distance, the waterfall looks like a white dragon looking down from the sky. From there you can see stunning view of the surrounding mountains and the last forests belonging to Hoang Lien National Park.
On the same road we move to Tram Ton Pass, the highest mountain pass in Vietnam. The pass acts as a weather divide, often with different temperatures on either side.
At the height of 1900 meters, Tram Ton Pass is the highest mountain pass in Vietnam, connecting Sapa and Lai Chau Province. In 2012, Global grasshopper, the independent travel agency in the UK, put Tram Ton Pass as the number five on the list of the 10 most fascinating destinations in Vietnam. Tram Ton Pass is also referred as Heavens Gate, since its picturesque landscapes and magnificence resemble a gate to the Heaven. The mountains will take your breath away.
Have free time in Sapa Town to explore Sap at night and enjoy some local specialties by yourself.

Day 11
Lao Chai - Ta Van – Ma Tra - Ta Phin

Have breakfast at Hotel.
Get pick up at Hotel then start the day to the Southeast of Sapa along Muong Hoa Valley to Lao Chai, Ta Van village, the home of the Black H’mong and Tay minority. 
Stop at the village for lunch. After lunch, continue go through the rice terraces to Ma Tra – Ta Phin village of red Dao minority. This trek is relatively easy and can be changed based on your health and your request. From these villgage we can enjoy the amazing terrace rice fields.  For that reason, good footwear is recommended.

Day 12
Sapa – Cat Cat – Lao Cai – Night train to Hanoi

A light-walk down to see Sapa Market and then trek down South-west of Sapa to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. See the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam.
Have lunch by yourself.  Free time in Sapa
17:00 transfer down to Lao Cai for the night train to Hanoi.

Day 13
Hanoi – Halong Bay

Arrival Hanoi train station in the early morning. Then you can walk to our Hotel closed train station for breakfast and short break at Hotel (check in 5am – 8am).

8:00: Our driver will meet you at your hotel. Enjoy the peaceful scenery as we travel through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta (200km – 3,5 hours for transferring).
12:00 – 12:30 Arriving Tuan Chau Marina. Welcome aboard the cruise. Meet the captain, crew and join us for welcome drink as we tell you about life onboard. Check into your cabin. Time to refresh and unwind. Served a delectable lunch while cruising ahead to Ha Long Bay
Explore the Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. It is one of the widest grottoes in Ha Long Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.
Back to the Cruise, We will take you to visit the Titop Island – swimming Climbing up to the Top of the Island – take the best view of Halong Bay in the Summer time or visit a floating Pearl Farm Village and learn the technique for making high quality pearls in the Winter time.
Continue cruising to the quiet area while enjoy beautiful seascape on the way. After that, come back to the boat, enjoy the Sunset Party on sundeck (free wine & fresh fruits).
Evening Relaxing: Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, take part in board games, fish for squid, or just laze around.
Overnight on board: Clean air – conditioned rooms with private washroom.

Morning Activities:
6:30 – 6:45 Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt. Have breakfast on board while the boat starts cruising to the Natural Preservation Zone.
Kayaking to explore around the area or visit a floating house and learn about the daily life of the local fishermen who live there. We board the cruise again. Take time to refresh and relax before checking out. Bags can be left in luggage store.

Afternoon Activities:
Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more…
Join in the Cooking Class, teaching you how to make our specifically (Spring rolls) before an early lunch is served.
11: 30 – 12:00 Disembark at the harbor, Tuan Chau Marina. Transfer to Noi Bai airport for the Flight back Home
