Ideal Vietnam Travel Itinerary in 10 days

Arriving at Noi Bai Airport, you will be picked up to the center of Hanoi for the lunch.
In the afternoon, you spend a half of the time to visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. 
After that, we go to the heart of capital and take a cyclo excursion to explore the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. You are certainly impressed by the hidden charm of French colonial architecture in Hanoi’s 36 Old streets. Especially it’s French quarter where you can admire yourself by the ancient French architecture houses such as: Sofitel Metropole Hotel Hanoi, Government Guest House Hanoi, State bank of Vietnam, Opera House.. When the cyclo takes you around Hoan Kiem Lake, you will observe the simplest things here. The Lake appears as the breath of this capital with variety of daily life as dating, excising, trading, walking, drawing, etc. Located in a corner of Hoan Kiem, The Huc Bridge (Sunlight Morning Bridge) is salient with the red itself and the green of trees around. Hoan Kiem Lake is also beautiful with a small tower that is named “Tortoise Tower” on accurate center. 
Before the first dinner with local delicious dishes in Hanoi, you will watch a Water Puppet performance.

Breakfast early at your hotel then transferring to Ninh Binh (120km – 2,5 hours for transferring).
10.00 a.m. The bus stop at the boat port to take a 2 hour excursion. The local boat will lead you along a lagoon to the area of Tuong Mountain. Disembarking here, passengers go for a short walk the entrance of Thien Ha Cave (Galaxy Cave). It is said that Thien Ha is one of the most mysterious and beguiling in Ninh Binh with its special boat trip. Next, the boat travel with you throughout But Cave, Ghe Cave and Chua Cave to the port of Tam Coc. Enjoy the picturesque scenes along the route. 
Have lunch by yourself. After the lunch, we ride to visit Bich Dong area with Dinh and Le Temples where is used to worship the heroes who started building the ancient Hoa Lu Capital.
16.00PM Driver take you to your Hotel in Ninh Binh. Have free time and relax.

07:30 Get pick up for transfer to Halong. After 3 hours and 30 minutes, the vehicle reaches Hon Gai Tourist Wharf. 
12.15 Embark on cruise. The staff provide the safety instruction and give the key to your room.
13.00 Lunch is served on board while the boat is sailing to your first destination- Vung Vieng Fishing Village. You admire the amazing scenery of Bai Tu Long Bay with hundreds of limestone islets, caves with special ecological system. In Vung Vieng Village, you can choose one in two options written below:
•    Option 1: You hop on a small boat rowed by local people to move around to explore the village, observe the daily life of fishermen.
•    Option 2: You can kayak by yourself around the village with the instruction of the tour guide. 
17.30 Come back to the boat, take a shower and relax on sundeck in sunset. It is time for Happy Hour at the bar and on deck. In this trip, a cooking lesson is included and it is perfect for anyone who loves cooking and wants to learn about Vietnamese traditional cuisine. The chief will teach you how to make some dishes and enjoy your works with your partners.
19.00 Have dinner in our restaurant. After that, you are free and easy. You can hang out with other people at the bar, sing and dance, take a rest in your room or join in the group of squid fishing on board. Those activities are available till 22.00.
Overnight on Cruise at Cong Do area.
 

06.30 Wake up and attend in a Tai Chi exercise class on deck. Studies have shown tai chi improves muscular strength, flexibility, fitness, improve immunity, relieve pain. It has value in treating or preventing health problems and can be easily adapted for anyone. The class lasts for 30 minutes.
07.00 Enjoy the morning sunrise with a cup of tea or coffee, have breakfast while the boat sails to Thien Canh Son Cave. The cave attracts a lot of tourists because of the wild natural beauty, incredible stalactites in different shapes and cool atmosphere. 
You return to the Cruise, pack your stuff, check out and transfer your luggage to the reception area. 
We cruise back to the harbor and disembark at around 12.00. Early lunch is served on board on the way back.
You get in vehicle to set off for Hanoi Airport for flight to Da Nang. 
Upon arrival, Far East Tour team will pick you up ahead to Hoi An (30km from Da Nang airport to Hoi An).

Breakfast at the hotel – Proceed to the old imperial city of Hue (120 km). Go throughout Hai Van Pass by train (about 3 hours). When the train run to near Hue, Lang Co Bay little by little appears as a wonderful ocean picture. 
Afternoon, passengers will visit The Citadel (the second circa of the Imperial Hue which is used to protect the most important palaces), then we come over Phu Cam conical hat making village, where holds a part of Hue’s cultural spirit. The tender Hue woman is inherent in the violet long dress and Bai Tho conical hat. The difference of Hue would be not completed without Dong Ba market where the locals come over every day.

08.30 Go to Huong River and embark to a dragon boat to stream along Huong River. In the heart of Hue, Perfume River and Ngu Mountain are beautiful with such poetic and pensive imagine. The boat stops at the Thien Mu Pagoda in the riverside. Visit this place to know about a marvelous period of Vietnam Central Buddha.
Disembark in Thuy Bieu village and ride cycle around village. The village is an ancient rural place in the central Hue with famous Thanh Tra pomelo and 100 year-old houses.
In the afternoon, we go back to The City, visit The Khai Dinh Tombs which has a lot of breakthrough in architecture besides of the other projects in Hue. 
15.00. You will be taken to the airport to fly to Ho Chi Minh city.
18.00. Meet Far East Tour’s team, then transferring to the hotel for check-in.
19.00. Enjoy your greatest diner on cruise restaurant on Saigon River.

Breakfast at your hotel. Travel with us to Cu Chi Tunnels, the biggest underground net system in Vietnam. In the Indochina and Vietnam Wars, Cu Chi was an incredible trench with full of dispensary, rooms, kitchen, storage, working places, and narrow underground roads. It was also the hidden place for Vietnamese soldiers.
In the afternoon, visitors return to Saigon and join in a City Tour with the most impressing places as Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Post Office, Ben Thanh market.

08.00 Meet tour guide at hotel in HCM city and transfer to Ben Tre (130km – 2,5 hours for transferring)
On arrival in Hung vương Pier. Boating on Ben Tre river – one of tributaries of Mekong river- is along mangrove tree from town to country. Witness lively activities in morning as fishing, coconut cargo boats carrying on river.... Stop at traditional brickwork to see how to make bricks by hand. Go on by boat to My Long village, walking to hamlet to see making rice paper and enjoy some rice cake. Turn on Cai Son canal winding through coconut jungle, visit coconut workshop, have a look stages of coconut processing from husk off, prize out to peel out by hand. Go on small waterway and stop at a bee garden, enjoy some fruits, honey tea and listen to local music as well. Visit candy milk making workshop and enjoy some sweet by the way. Continue short walking to visit farmer house who making sleepmats.
Cycle rural tracks or drive tuktuk through coconut grove, vegetable plains (cucumber, bitter melon...). Keep going by row boat on shady palm tree canal. Boating back Hùng Vương pier by motorboat and get on the car back to Sai Gon.
