13 Days Tour to the South and Centre of Vietnam

08:00 Start to downtown of Ho Chi Minh for touring along the famous Dong Khoi street , passing by the Opera House, Town Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral & central Post Office and Independent Palace. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we are heading to Hoc Mon District to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, is 70 kilometers Northwest of down-town Ho Chi Minh City. The Cu Chi Tunnel system had been created long time back, from 1948 to assist Viet Minh in the combat with French. Back to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Breakfast at the hotel. At 8:00, departure with the guide towards Ben Tre (60 kms - 1.5 hours drive) to begin your discovery of the Mekong Delta, formed by the nine arms of the feeder river. When you arrive in Ben Tre, you board a local boat. This one takes you on the river, to discover the daily activities of its inhabitants. You can assist in the manufacture of bricks and coconut fibers, among other things. Tasting of seasonal fruits. Continue to Cai Son and Nhon Thanh circuses where local families specialized in mat making. You continue your discovery of the surroundings by bike. Your journey continues through rice fields and vegetable crops.

Then continuation of the road to Vung Liem (35km - 1h). After the passage of the Quoi Thien ferry, ride a bike or walk to homestay. Free time and preparation of the kitchen with the host family.

In the morning, departure to discover the authentic life in Thanh Binh village.
Cycling is the only way to transport this island, except for mototaxi. It is located at the meeting point of the provinces of Ben Tre, Vinh Long and Tra Vinh; it is a hidden place, untouched by tourists covered with huge orchards and small canals on the edge of the mangrove. You will go on foot or by bike with the owner to greet his neighbors, cousins, family ... You will discover the houses and the habits and customs of an island where time seems to have stopped. The father will be delighted to share with you his passion for cock fights very popular on the island and can sometimes bring a lot of money! Back home and lunch with the locals. 
In the afternoon, you leave the family then drive to Can Tho (50km - 1h15). Arrive Can Tho, discover the local market and an old Khmer pagoda. Dinner is not included.

Morning will start early with visiting Cai rang floating market, the largest wholesale floating market in the Mekong Delta. While floating down the river, you will glimpse life along its shores. You’ll pass vibrantly painted boats anchored along the shore, merchant vessels carrying loads down the river and houses built on stilts over the water. Embark the harbor, our Guide will lead you visit some fruit garden here, it’s a chance for you to admire and enjoy the abundant fruit garden of the Mekong Delta region. 
Then return to Ho Chi Minh airport for Flight to Hue. 
Upon arrive, meet our driver for the transfer to your Hotel in Hue. Check in Hotel and relax.

After breakfast, you start Hue City Tour from Toa Kham port where the dragon boats anchor. Embarking into a local boat, you stream along Perfume River, which is famous with the dreamlike looking, and located in the heart of Hue. People say that had not seen Perfume River and Ngu Mountain, not known Hue yet. Firstly, we stop at Thien Mu Pagoda – the most characteristic pagoda for the majestic period of Buddha in central Vietnam. 
After sauntering around Thien Mu pagoda, car transfer to visit Hue Imperial City: impressive in size and historical value, was for almost 145 years (1802 to 1945) the home of the Nguyen rulers, and the political heart of Vietnam. Its grounds are protected by fortified rampart 2 km square and ringed by a moat taking its water from the Perfume River. This enclosure is the Citadel, and inside is the Imperial City, with at its heart the Purple Forbidden City.
After lunch, we continue to visit royal tomb with one of the most typical Vietnamese Architect: Minh Mang Tomb. It is considered the most majestic of all royal tombs in Hue. Built 20 years after his reign and completed after his death, the symmetrical structure of the tomb is a reflection of harmony with nature.
End of Hue city tour, we come over Phu Cam conical hat making village, where holds a part of Hue’s cultural spirit. The tender Hue woman is inherent in the violet long dress and Bai Tho conical hat.

Breakfast at your hotel. In the afternoon, get pick up to go ahead to Hoi An through Da Nang. 
On the way stop at Lang Co beach to enjoy one of the most amazing attractions in Vietnam center.  Experience fabulous Hai Van Pass that you can admire both of emerald sea and spectacular mountain with the impressing curved lines. 
Then visiting the Cham museum where reserves the ancient sculpture objects of Cham people. It is said that Cham museum is the most interesting cultural place in lively Danang which owns the worthiest sculptural objects of Cham civilization in Vietnam. Visiting the museum, you can look many classical imagines of Champa sculpture as Apsara dance woman, Vishnu statues, Linga-Yoni altar, Siva statue, My Son altar
Subsequently, we go ahead to Hoi An – the romantic commercial port, which has been preserved from the 16th century. Let check-in the hotel in the center of Hoi An, then making the most of leisure time.

08:00 Depart from your hotel . Spend a leisurely day cycling through the scenic countryside of Vietnam, where the noise of the city a distant memory.
9:30 After passing through the town and along quiet roads, you will go to Tra Que vegetable village - About 150 farmers and 400 owners live there and cultivate about 20 types of vegetables and herbs including mint, lettuce, basil, cilantro, broccoli among others. More than 40 hectares of land and 8 tons of Tra Que vegetables are sold every year. The vegetable growers do not use pesticides or GMOs, instead they rely on a seaweed found in the local river that is harvested by boat every morning.
10:00 At Tra Que village you will be warmly welcomed by Mr.Minh and his family – a 3 generation family - with a refreshing basil juice. After the welcome drink you could stroll through the village and meet local people who work in the garden.
11:00 The local farmers will teach you their cultivation methods, and how to protect developing vegetables from the insects. You will also join the farmers in gardening activities such as raking the ground, sowing, watering greens, transplanting, and tending greens.
After working on the farm you can enjoy a traditional therapeutic foot bath with medicinal herbs. 
Your next adventure is to prepare lunch with a local family. You will learn how to make 'Tam Huu' spring rolls and 'Banh Xeo' pancakes, which you will then be able to enjoy with other local Vietnamese delicacies.
13:30 After lunch you will be able to take a short rest before returning to your hotel at 14:00.

Have free time in Hoi An until get pick up for transfer to Da Nang airport for Flight to Saigon.
Upon arrival, meet our driver for transfer to Mui Ne by private car (about 220km – 5 hours for transferring). Arrive Mui Ne, check in the room and relax.
