Far East Tour team (a local private bus & local private tour guide) pick you up from your hotel in the center of Sapa town to the area of Ma Tra village. From here, clients start trekking to Ta Phin. Crossing over many H’mong houses, rice-terraces, corn-terraces, you will immerse into the peaceful life here. Ma Tra is not too breathtaking, but it is impressing by the authentic scenes. You can easy met a H’mong boy who is naked and following his mother to the fields, or the black pigs sleeping well. Stop en-route, we have a picnic lunch between the untouched jungles and forests of Sapa. Ma Tra – Ta Phin is supposed as one of the most initial trekking route with the completely reserved tradition.
In the afternoon, special visiting an old monastery in Ta Phin, which was broken in the period of French dominating. Listen to the tour guide telling the story of 8 Japanese priests. After 12km of trekking, we stop at a local mud stilt house. Ta Phin is the village of Red Dzao. It is famous by the traditional herbal bathing water that can help you healthier. Let’s enjoy a bathing by the herbal specialty of Red Dzao to reject whole of tiredness after an adventure day. Communicate to the hosts and share the dinner cooking with them.
Taste the dinner while connecting to the Red Dzao family for exploring about their daily life, customs and habits. Overnight at the stilt house in Ta Phin.
