What to do and see in Halong Bay (Caves, Villages and Islets)
Caves

Thien Cung cave: Thien Cung is considered one of the biggest and nicest in Halong. This cave was discovered quite late due to the small entrance and the development of the plants which covers almost the cave entrance. In 1993, a group of fishermen went to Dau Go cave to avoid a storm and explored Thien Cung cave by chance. The cave is called Thien Cung as a result of the stalactites with different strange shapes and sizes which make people think of a palace with Dragon - Phoenix, the four pillars and so on. And that is true. Visiting the cave will give you the feeling of getting lost into a paradise with the imposing and magical stalactities system.

Me Cung cave (or Maze cave): The cave is at the height of 25 m on Lờm Bò Island which is about 2km to the southwest from Titop Island. Me Cung cave belongs to the completely protected area of the world natural heritage of Halong Bay. The structure of this cave is very complex with multiple levels and compartments spreading along a corridor which is mỏe than 100m long. The cave is inclided to the west before looks at a small lake with the same name: Me Cung Lake.

Trinh Nu grotto: Trinh nu grotto lying on the two wings of a mountain arc in the East of Bo Hon Island is about 3km from Sung Sot cave to the Southeast. Visiting Trinh Nu grotto, visitors be hearing a moved love story which is related to the name of this grotto from the tour guides.

Travel Conversation Questions
Fearless2215 :
They offered us a great price to stay one evening on the boat and it is worthy. They selected us promptly at eight am and we merely left the luggage of ours within the resort. On the boat you might envision a really good perspective and they also took you to a few areas as pearl farm, pearl shop, they prepared good tasks on the boat though I appreciated simply to relish myself relaxing and feel the breeze on the blowing wind. The water is very green and numerous small islands. Do not overlook seeing the sunrise. It is extremely beautiful. They are going to stop at the proper spot that you are able to enjoy the early morning view. Must try the pedometar
Curious865 :
Unlike many other caves that I have visited, Sung Sot Cave remains natural in its color. Many others turned all kinds of kitschy neon nights on to highlight the caves. It has a contra productive result. The safety measure is also very well done. It is quite big. You go in from one side and come out from the other. You have to climb a few steps to get to it. It is well worth the effort. An extra bonus is a nice view of the Halong Bay. Recommended for a visit

On Red Dragon trip in Bai tu Long. visited this fishing village. another exciting experience
Into the small boat and then to switching 'station' where we were a put in rowing boats and ferried all round the village , looked at the small school room, art galery and fish 'farm'. then continued round the rocks and back to the 'station'.
A remarkable peaceful experience, and many thanks to the rowers and villagers for etting us experience their world if only for a short time.
