Travel Conversation Questions :

Kcarmody :
The water was clean and not cold and you have many choices of bars or stalls to purchase drinks and snacks. There are also seated bars and restaurants along the shoreline.
The beach itself is wide, long and most importantly clean and tidy. it is a fine sand beach and you can either choose to bring your own umbrella and towel or you can rent for a very modest fee smiley
Came through here in june, Even the early morning temperature was hot, and i had a lovely walk along the beach, it certainly was not crowded and appeared to be well equipped with facilities. It is very easy to get to as most of the main hotels are within 2 blocks of the beach. Just take your care in crossing the main road.

SimeonL60 :
Perfect white sand and crystal clear water. You can do (or learn) diving and wind surfing. You can also do parasailing and water skiing. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her jet-skiing ride! My wife and I enjoyed relaxing in the not so crowded and perfect beach. We were there in August so it was not their peak season. The weather was perfect. Just one tip (I wish someone had told us before): it's best to bring your own snack or food with you. There is only one restaurant on the beach but we wished we had brought our own food. One day should be enough. Best way to get there from Nha Trang is to hire a taxi and agree with the driver the time you want to be picked up for your return trip. Do not miss this beach - if you are holidaying in Nha Trang and like beaches! yes

Eileenw92 :

You can't miss this beach as it stretches along the city center. Not overcrowded, nice sand, affordable sunbeds. The sea is warm and you can just drive in immediately. Mixed crowd of all ages, predominantly Russian and Chinese tourists. smiley
The waves tend to be higher from the to time, so careful going in. Great place to spend a day on the beach.

Ruchadaporn D :

I'm going to be there in late December (from HCMC). I'm assuming that it will still be "beach weather." If I'm woefully mistaken, please correct me! Thanks!

Ludo Owen :

December is the end of the wet season, so you could expect a few storms and wet days, so not sure about the beach. We always go Janaury February or March.

We did a snorkel trip in February and the water was freezing.

Vincents C :

We will still be in the rainy season so expect to see some rain, will still have some sunny days. Will not be cold but not ideal time for swimming.

Kcarmody :

Thanks for your observations! I was picturing a Hawaiian beach atmosphere.
