In flowering season, the rocky plateau is embellished with fresh colors: Purple color of buckwheat flowers, pink color of cherry blossom, white color of plum and pear flower. Buckwheat season lasts from late September to early December. Seasonal flowers of plum, peach and pear full bloom after Tet.

Traveling till the end of Happiness Road
Happiness Road starts from Ha Giang, runs through Dong Van rocky plateau then Ma Pi Leng peak to Meo Vac. It is about 200 kilometers long, this path was formed from blood bone, the young power legend of youth from 16 provinces: Cao Bang, Bac Can, Lang Son, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Nam Dinh and Hai Duong. This road is built is 8 years with over 2 million workdays, 1,000 youth volunteers, 1,200 workers, 9 million tons of explosives and so much labor effort pouring to open the road. Going on this road, not only for sightseeing, but also for paying tribute those who laid down for the way we go.

Conquering passes, slopes in Ha Giang
Ha Giang is famous for craggy passes and slopes. There are some difficult to move passes as Bac Sum slope, Heaven Gate, Tham Ma, Chin Khoanh, Ma Pi Leng ... but in contrast, you will be rewarded with stunning views while standing on top of the pass to contemplate everything.

If you are interested in exploring and understanding the cultural beauty of the highland, you should come to highland kermis in Hagiang. Coming here to see the ethnic people who are in colorful clothes and eager to sell-buy. Or simply going to the market to eat candy and drink corn wine. The fair usually takes place on Saturday and Sunday every week (except for some special market days such as Khau Vai Love Market is only held only once a year).
