How to come to Hanoi from other provinces of Vietnam?

Airline:
curently, a lot of airlines have opened routs to Hanoi from other places. Some no-frilled airlines can be named as Jetstar Pacific and Vietjet Air. Vietnam Airlines is abit more expensive. To move to the city center from Noi Bai airport, it is easy to catch a taxi with the fee of around $20. You can also catch the bus which is the transshipment between two local airlines of Jetstar and Vietjet Air at a price of just $2. 

Rail way: the fee for one way ticket from the South to the North of Vietnam is ranging from $57/person to $60/person. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes by taxi from Hanoi Station located on Le Duan Street to the city center. 

Bus/ Sleeping bus: It is really easy to take a bus to go to Hanoi from the Northern or Central Provinces. However, going by bus will take lots of time in your trips.

Best way to go from Noi Bai Airport to Hanoi's center:

Taxi/ Private: You can take a taxi in the airport or request your hotel (or travel agency) ordering a pick-up car for you.

Airport buses: You can order a seat in the buses of Airport Companies. All of three biggest companies including Vietnam Airline, Vietjet Air, Jestar Pacific has their buses.

Public Bus: This is the cheapest way (less than $1/person). But it is always crowded and hot.

Taxi/ Private Car: These are the two popular vehicles for visitors in Hanoi. It is fast and convinient as well. 

Bike/ Motorbike: It can say that either bike or motorbike is the most favorite vehicle to explore whatever city in the World. However, Hanoi is peculiarly by its complicated traffic jam. The streets are full of motorbikes that do not often happened in other countries. If you want to explore Hanoi by bike or motorbike, you need to have a couple of stable controling hands, or you have to go in the deserted time frame (Most peak of time is around 8 a.m and 5 p.m). An ideal place for biking is the circle of West Lake.

Take a look at the traffic before you hire a bicycle. Taxis are cheap. pillion on motorcyle cheaper. I walked everywhere laugh. It's pretty compact and you see a lot of stuff when you walk.

The only time we got a taxi during 5 days in Hanoi was to the train station and museum of Ethnology.We visited all other places by foot but we don't mind walking 10 or more kms per day smiley

You can get a bicycle or cyclo to around old quarter and Ho Guom Lake . If u have more time u should walking on last week . Have more interesting activity . You will like this wink
