Besides, Dahlia, marigold and hibiscus are also blooming, together with many other special plants in the South. Phuoc Đinh apricot flowers village (in Vinh Long)

Phuoc Dinh apricot village which is about 3 km from center of Vinh Long city is a renowned provider of apricot flowers in Vietnam. Apricot flowers here are pristine, together with good care, they have long lifespans and high values. On the nearby Tet season, this is the place where many apricot collectors come to prepare for Tet Holiday. Thus, if visit Phuoc Dinh on this occation, you can be overwhelmed in a bustle asmosphere of the apricot gardens. 
 

My Tho Flower Village 

Serving as the closest flower villages in the West to Sai Gon, My Tho is an attractive destination for tourists to see flowers and take photos. Visiting this village, you will have a special feeling when seeing the flower farmer taking care of flowers and transporting them to markets.

Cho Lach Ornamental tree village (in Cái Mơn)

On the days adjacent to Tet, the atmostphere in Cho Lach flower village which is considered “Ornamental flowers Kingdom” is bustling despite days or nights. The gardeners are working hard, taking care of their flower to provide for Tet. The boat drivers are also busy transporting flowers come and go constantly.

Thoi Nhut Flower Village (in Can Tho)

Despite not as famous as Tan Quy Dong or Cai Mon villages, Thoi Nhut is also an interesting destination to see flower on the bordered on Tet season.  The village is more than 100 years old which used to plant some common and typical flowers of the West like apricot flower, daisy, dahlia, sunflower and so on. 

 

Best Time to Visit the Mekong Delta

The best time to visit the Mekong Delta is from March to May and September to November. Beacause the climate in the West has two distinct seasons: the rainy season and the dry season. If coming in the remaining months is in the rainy season and the weather is very erratic.
