Thi Tuong Lake (or Ba Tuong lake) is one of the largest natural lake in the Mekong Delta which is called ‘the sea in the middle of delta. The lake is fostered by the silt of My Binh, Ong Doc rivers and some other watercourses of 3 districts known as Phu tan, Tran Van Thoi and Cai Nuoc. Located between Phu Tan and Tran Van Thoi districts, Thi Tuong Lake is described as a romantic and charming picture wearing, especially in the morning and evening.

Our visit was short as we were the last to go out. Better known as the Indigo Forest this is a natural wet land in the true seance of the word. In parts closed in with trees, vines and water hyacinths. Other areas are open which allows birds to stop and fish. Perhaps because we were the last group in the birds had "collected" for the night which was much to our advantage. Don't miss this spectacular piece of nature

It was great adventure! We took bike for rent and got to the park (around 45 minutes from Chau doc). In the park we took boat tour (150 000 dong for 2 person) and they drove us through the park via water chanals. It was great landscape, many birds and just quiet and lovely place. Must see and really in Chau Doc!

Great place to relax and enjoy nature. Lots of birds. Relaxing boat ride. Friendly locals. This area is still being developed so advisable to bring some of your comforts and some packed food. Many local eateries but only a handful speaks English.
